Yoga Brighton & Hove - Gentle, flowing yoga everyone can do
NEWS
Yoga Workshop 12 September 'New Beginnings'
Yoga Retreat 8-10 October 'Embracing Autumn'

Welcome

My name is Fiona Tasker and I teach a graceful, flowing form of yoga with music. You are encouraged to go at your own pace, listening deeply to what is right for your body in each moment, and there is no competition. Beginners are welcome.

A typical class includes:

  • flowing sequences, both gentle and dynamic
  • postures to stretch, strengthen, release tension and energise
  • breath awareness
  • deep relaxation

Yoga has many benefits for mind, body and spirit:

  • improving flexibility and focus
  • developing core strength
  • increasing confidence and positivity
  • relaxing and recharging from head to toe!

About me

I set up Yoga Brighton and Hove in August 2009 after 15 years of practising and studying yoga. I've been teaching since 2001, first in London and then running a yoga studio in The Hague. I have also trained yoga teachers since 2004, including postgraduate training in yogadance and pregnancy yoga (not at the same time!). I have also specialised in yoga for specific health conditions.

My approach to teaching is inclusive, light-hearted and down-to-earth. I am keen to make yoga accessible to all and can offer adjustments for most health conditions. Although my approach is gentle, I will challenge you with some dynamic movement too so that you leave the class feeling well-stretched, energised and at the same time deeply relaxed and peaceful.
